Primary Roles: Programming User Acquisition Demo

A user acquisition demo that plays within other apps, giving users a taste of the experience they can have in Halfbrick’s classic endless runner, Monster Dash. This was the first project I worked on at Krome Studios and Its development was initiated and completed towards the latter stages of Monster Dash’s development. My role involved designing and creating a demo that could be played in a browser and integrated into the IronSource and Unity Ads ad networks. To achieve this, I utilized the popular HTML5 game engine, Phaser. I essentially ported the original gameplay C# scripts into JavaScript to recreate a vertical slice. This was an exiciting first project to have been handed and I'm grateful for the experience I gained in learning Phaser and further developing my Javascript skills.
